The Hogwarts Express pulls up at Landmark on 31 July 2016

31st July, 2016, Bangalore: Put on your wizarding hats and head straight to King’s Cross Station at Landmark, celebrating the launch of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child this July.

We invite you to celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday as you explore Hogwarts and immerse yourself in magic through our elaborate set-up recreating The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and King’s Cross Station across Landmark stores. The new book, adapted from a stage play scripted by J K Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, brings back to life some of the most revered characters, and is the official eight installment in the beloved Harry Potter series.

We urge our customers to bring their children and engage in exciting activities lined up to commemorate the launch of the book. We invite ‘Potterheads’ the chance to participate in seven Harry Potter quizzes and take home gift vouchers from Landmark. Customers can also register themselves to get a copy of the book on the first day of its launch, and those with invites will get a sling bag to carry home their latest prized possession.

The exciting new addition to the renowned series picks up 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts, and focuses on the lives of our favorite wizard, Harry Potter, and his son Albus Severus Potter, as the latter realizes his family’s legacy. Landmark offers its customers the chance to relive their childhood, introduce this magical world to their children, and rekindle their love for fiction, as they partake in the world-wide release of this much awaited instalment in the series. For the launch, Landmark has received pre-orders for more than 2500 copies of the new book, all of which are up for grabs at all the Landmark stores across India.
